My story

From burnout to a passion to help others heal from stress and burnout, learn more about my story.

Where did Katie Cooper Wellness begin? Well, to be honest, it has probably been an idea bouncing around in my head for 10 plus years now. It’s hard to say where it started, but the desire to start this really happened in 2021.

You all probably have strong memories of 2020 and 2021. For me, it was extremely hard months of trying to work in a frontline health care job, take care of two young children and my husband. The culmination of months of stress lead to me feeling anxious, depressed and a failure at all my roles.

I decided I could not live like this anymore and sought the help of a therapist who helped me regain my life. I have always been a fan of therapy, and highly recommend therapy to everyone. After I got my anxiety and depression under control, I was ready to feel my best again.

I decided to enroll in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to focus on making healthy changes over the year long program, and learning more about health and wellness topics. A few months into the program, I realized that everyone needs a health coach and I was in particular, thinking of my fellow health care professionals who sacrificed so much during the pandemic to care of their patients.

That is when I decided to create Katie Cooper Wellness. To provide coaching services and support to those who want to live healthier, happier lives. I want to help people prevent and heal from burnout, to find their passion again and feel their best.
